Shanghai - Day 12 - Nanjing Lu with Libo and Weijia!
We began our day at the Peace Theater to watch IRON MAN 2, which I have to say, was pretty awesome. Libo got Chinese sweet popcorn, and it reminded me of the delicious popcorn in Hong Kong when I went to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Nom nom nom!
Libo, Weijia, and I went to a teahouse/restaurant called, 一茶一座, and ordered tea, ice cream, and a huge red bean shaved dessert! Libo, being Libo, made a scary and funny face into it. Pretty fun!
Chinese arcades are extremely fun. I played DDR for the first time in a long time. This arcade happened to have the DDR that requires hand movements. It makes you look like you are really dancing. We could tell if people had the game at their house or came to the arcade really often to practice. We did well because we got princess rings! Libo was Bo for the day.
On the Bund, we decided to make fun of tourists. Some observations: Young Chinese people really use a lot of body movement during pictures, and the old Chinese people don’t like to smile in pictures.
