Day 38: Explore Bridge 8: A Homage to Design Offices

I always saw people taking pictures around our office complex, but I never understood why. Now I do. At lunch I decided to give it a go. Pleasant surprise. I work at the hub of design offices in Shanghai. There is even a special exhibition space for projects that the companies here have done in Shanghai. Big architecture firms including Cannon Design, SOM, and Aedas have an office here at Bridge 8! I was really impressed by how beautiful and archi-tastic everything was.
For lunch, I got a 5RMB dan dan mian from my favorite Shandong bing place. The vendors love me there because I surprised them with my Shanghainese. I love breaking out with the Shanghainese.
At night, I met up with my cousin to go to the GCC networking event at Le Meredien. It was absolutely gorgeous on the 66th floor drinking with my cousin, Libo, Melissa, and some new friends. I had a lot of fun, and definitely hope I can attend more classy things like this! The view was definitely worth it.
After the event, Melissa and Evelyn were craving Mister Donut, which I had for the first time. Donuts can’t get much better than Mister Donut. Fluffy with a marshmallow texture, you will feel like nothing can be softer.
